At IXIT we provide solutions to the specific needs of our customers, offering them customized systems that meet their requirements.

Solutions Types

We build different types of solutions: cloud applications accessible from any place and device, web applications and classic programs that require a local installation.

In addition to the needs of the client and the expected results, it is important to take into account several factors to determine the most appropriate technology:

  • the devices used by end users (mobile, tablet, PC, MAC, other)
  • the location of the users: inside or outside the company network
  • the type of access: web or installed application
  • the type of authentication: anonymous, identified with Active Directory, identified with external OAuth providers such as Google or Facebook
  • possible integrations with existing systems

In this page we describe some examples of custom solutions we have developed.

Master Data Management

The Master Data Management system we developed is a multi-language tool that permits the control of the company Suppliers, Customers and Materials.

The system includes a workflow that can be configurable depending on the users involved in the process of requesting, creating and validating the master data. At each step is defined what users should participate, what actions they can take and what fields can be viewed or edited.

The Master Data Management system is integrated with SAP. From one side it reads data from SAP to fill existing master data, and on the other side the data is written into SAP after it has been finally validated.

For the administrators, the system includes a control dashboard, where they can view any request status, track and assign tasks, and view statistics.

New Product Request

This solution manages requests for new products, in this case for the food industry.
The definition of a new product follows a flow that we describe briefly below. At each step of the flow , specific actor enters data related to the product.

  • KAM (Key Account Manager) / Commercial: a user of the sales department requests a new product, entering general information about it (type, quantity requested, similarity with existing product, etc.)
  • Regional Director: the person in charge reviews and approves or rejects the request for the new product.
  • Manager: depending on the type of product, the related manager reviews, comments and validates the product.
  • R&D: The R&D department analyzes the request and makes recommendations on the requested product. He defines the formulas necessary for production.
  • Supply chain: Supply chain introduces logistics information and defines the product and packaging formats.
  • Finance Controller: the controller reviews the production costs and defines the sales prices.
  • Director: the directory finally reviews the new product and can validate it to start its production.
